Designer
Yağmur Köylü is a Turkish designer and co-founder of YET. Design Studio, an interdisciplinary practice based in Istanbul and London. A graduate of Yaşar University’s Interior Architecture and Environmental Design program, Köylü’s work explores the balance between simplicity, geometry, and craftsmanship. Her design language is defined by clean, sculptural forms, traditional artisanal techniques, and an appreciation for the natural imperfections of materials. Köylü’s collections have been exhibited at international design events including Dubai Design Week and Milan Design Week. Her work has received numerous accolades, such as the A' Design Award 2024 and EDIDA Türkiye International Young Designer of the Year. In 2022, she expanded YET. Design Studio’s international reach by establishing its London office. Alongside her practice, Köylü contributes to the design community through IDEALIST NGO, focusing on sector-driven initiatives and collaborative projects.
Founders
Founded by Yağmur Köylü and Lokman Köylü. Founded in 2019,YET. blends interior architecture, product and furniture design, and consultancy, guided by the belief that outstanding design harmonizes aesthetics and functionality. With a focus on simple geometric forms, traditional craftsmanship, and the natural imperfections of materials, the studio creates emotionally resonant products and spaces that invite interaction and dialogue. Rooted in the concept of incompleteness, the name YET. reflects the ongoing nature of the design process—where each project is a journey of continual refinement. By collaborating with skilled local artisans and reviving endangered crafts, YET. delivers exclusive, handcrafted pieces that transcend utility, infusing everyday objects with artistry and meaning.
